I’m delighted to say that artwork was completed for Midlands-based rock outfit Martyr De Mona’s forthcoming album ‘IMPERA’ recently. Featuring the excellent photography of Steve Gerrard and illustration of Joshua Farnell, the artwork features an eight page rollfold inlay and I’m really pretty darn proud of the outcome. It goes hand-in-hand with what is a really excellent album, based on the early mixes I’ve had the pleasure of listening to. Fans of Alter Bridge, Alice in Chains and Helmet are going to love it when it’s released next year on In At The Eye Records!
I’ve supported the design of the album artwork by producing the artwork for Martyr De Mona’s album launch show at Wolverhampton’s Wulfrun Hall on Sunday 31 March 2014, where support comes from CWDmedia clients The Black Hounds. Tickets are already on sale – visit www.wolvescivic.co.uk or www.martyrdemona.com.
It was delightful to see CWDmedia clients Xtreme Fitness voted best gym in the UK by users of www.gymbuzz.com. Lee and the team up in Cumbria have worked themselves to the bone getting the business off the ground and this recognition is fully justified as far as I’m concerned – congratulations!
It’s been a hectic couple of months at CWDmedia. From leaflet designs for Immortaleye Photography to exhibition stand designs for SOMERSTOTALKARE to logo designs for Questions of Angels & Webgopher and onto magazine adverts for my hard rocking Somerset amigos in Nya… somehow I’ve managed to squeeze in a short break to Glasgow along the way as well.
I’m also very excited to have been chosen to produce the artwork for the forthcoming EP by Piston. These guys are an authentic nod to all that was great about classic hair metal – check them out here!
